K-W FRENCH SUMMER SCHOOL
Claire Croisat-Stollery, founder and operator of the K-W French summer school was born, raised and educated in the French Alps.
She has been employed by the French School Board (Conseil scolaire catholique Mon Avenir) located in Toronto, in the school library of 2 French Schools: école Saint-René-Goupil School, located in Guelph, Ontario, as well as école Mère-Élisabeth-Bruyère School located in Waterloo, Ontario. She entered the French School Board in 1993 and left the Board in 2020.
She has been teaching Continuing Education French classes at Conestoga College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Kitchener for 25 years, and left Conestoga College in 2017.
She taught fitness classes for the City of Toronto and for the City of Kitchener, Parks and Recreation Department, for twelve years.
Her experience in summer camps prior to the K-W French Climbing Camp includes three French Immersion summer camps she taught for the Waterloo Region District School Board.
She is an experienced avid rock climber (alpine and indoor) and have been for the past twenty seven years. Her passion for rock climbing inspired her to start this camp. Her other recreational interests include general fitness, bicycling, trail hiking and alpine hiking.
